We present a vision for restoring individual sovereignty through the convergence of AI and blockchain technologies. Using Renaissance artisans as metaphor, we contrast the autonomy of pre-industrial craftspeople with the hierarchical constraints imposed during industrialization.
Core Thesis
Two technological revolutions: AI reducing coordination costs and blockchain eliminating trust intermediaries, enable a return to individual sovereignty at scale. The blacksmith controlling tool creation and the sculptor controlling creative vision both operated autonomously without institutional gatekeeping. We can return to that model.
