Fucina Nexus Foundation is a non-profit foundation in Rome, on the RUNTS register: grants fund the research and the infrastructure, not the companies.
Philanthropy funds the infrastructure.
Pre-seed capital goes into the companies, through investment funds. The Foundation's own channel is philanthropic: grants and donations fund the research and the public infrastructure that every venture — and everyone else — inherits for free.

Research on the 7 Nexi
Seven open problem stacks: venture creation, trust and privacy, resource allocation, value exchange, financial support, autonomous governance, autonomous agents. A grant funds the research that turns each stack into working designs.

Itabyrium
Validated results are implemented, evolutionarily, in Itabyrium: the Foundation's transactional infrastructure for the multi-species economy — sovereign identity, private data vaults, intent-based commerce — offered free to humans and AI agents alike.

The selection method
Interaction-as-Assessment© — the evaluation method that produces verifiable scores — is maintained as a public good: any founder, anywhere, can be assessed on what they build, with no résumé, network, or deck required.
A second stream feeds the same infrastructure: through the Harvest Model©, components proven in the market by the Genesis ventures are extracted and folded into Itabyrium, so what each company builds becomes something everyone can use.
Fucina Nexus Foundation is an ETS — a non-profit foundation under Italian law, headquartered in Rome — with a public, versioned programme document and declared governance. The thesis behind the work is public too.
